Can we change the setup for the duration of a login session?

Hello everyone,

One of our clients asks us if the setup for the duration of a login session has changed in the last few weeks: after about 1 hour, the session drops and at the same time, the mail session drops. Before, each session lasted about 8 hours, so a session rarely time out.
Is there any setting that allows this configuration that may have changed after some new release?
