Hi All,

I am trying to connect Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) with Oracle EPM FCCS. The Test Connection is successful, but the Refresh Metadata step consistently fails with the following error:

"The request cannot be performed and has failed. Review and take appropriate action."

can someone help me understand:

  • What are the required configurations and steps in FCCS, especially related to Data Exchange jobs and result file generation?
  • What are the correct setup steps or prerequisites on the FDI side for successful metadata extraction?
  • Are there any common reasons or checks when the connection test passes but metadata refresh fails?
