Using Project Status to derive accounting segments in PPM SLA engine

We have a requirement to derive the natural account segment for labor and miscellaneous expenses based on the Project Status. Example if the Project Status is ABC, natural account should be defaulted a constant value.

While trying to establish this, i couldnt find project status as a source in the the segment derivation for the account rule. Am i missing something or Oracle doesnt allow Project Status to be used for accounting?
