Rehire Initiatives for employees who have been rehired multiple times
Summary:
In our organization, certain courses are mandatory for employees and contingent workers to complete when they are first hired. These courses must also be retaken each time an individual is rehired.
A significant portion of our workforce, particularly contingent workers (CWKs), are rehired multiple times. These workers, often referred to as “travelers,” may cycle through several assignments with us. To support onboarding, we have established new hire learning initiatives that automatically assign required courses to individuals on their assignment start date.
These initiatives rely on predefined analysis criteria that use HR action codes to identify events such as new hires, rehires, department transfers, and promotions. While this setup works well for initial hires and even the first rehire, it presents a challenge for individuals who are rehired multiple times.
