How can we configure occasional working weekends at the Legal Entity work schedule level?

Summary:

We have a country where there are approximately 6 working weekends in a year. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, but a few specific weekend dates are also treated as working days.

Is there a way to incorporate these working weekends directly into the work schedule assigned at the Legal Entity level?

Currently, if we assign a standard Mon-Fri schedule to the Legal Entity, and then create separate schedules for the working weekends, the system requires us to end-date the standard schedule before assigning the weekend schedule. For example, if February 2 is a working weekend, we would need:
