Item template attributes vs Item status attributes

Hello Community - Need help

We have create a new item and we applied the organization-specific template while associating the item to the organization; however, the template values is not getting applied

Specifically, the Costing Enabled attribute at the item status level is set to Yes (with usage as Default), whereas the value defined in the template is No. Despite this, the template value is not being applied when the item is associated with the organization.

Could you please confirm if there are any additional configurations or dependencies that might be preventing the template from overriding this attribute? If not any other workarounds please.
