whether Add Assignee function advanced search can include more criteria?

Our client would like to use the "Add Assignee" function to include additional approvers within the existing approval workflow.

Currently, the search criteria are limited to First Name, Last Name, Email, and Username. Our client would like to inquire if it is possible to add new search criteria, such as Preferred Name or Employee ID, to enhance employee search functionality.
