Blank/Null attribute values in CPQ are not clearing mapped fields in Salesforce

Hi team,
We are using the packaged integration between Oracle CPQ and Salesforce and have run into an issue regarding how blank/null values are handled during the sync.
The Issue:
When a CPQ attribute has a value, it syncs perfectly to its mapped field in Salesforce. However, if that same attribute is later cleared (made blank) in CPQ and the quote is synced again, the corresponding field in Salesforce does not get cleared out. Instead, it retains the previous value.
Kindly let us know if anyone has faced any similar issue and reason behind this behaviour.
