User preference not honored for new user added in OTM

Hello All,

We have a user preference setup that defaults the currency to AED. This preference is assigned to a role, and all users associated with that role should see AED as the default currency.

However, we recently added a new user with the same role, and for this user alone the preference is not being honored. Is there any additional setup required to ensure that the role-based user preference is applied correctly?

As a workaround, I am considering creating an explicit user preference for this user. Before doing so, I would like to understand why the role-based preference is not working for a newly created user.
