Manage Receiving Parameters - Changes Not Applied to Existing Purchase Orders

Hi everyone,

I’d like to understand the intended behavior of Manage Receiving Parameters, specifically the Receipt Days Exceed Action.

We observed the following behavior:

1. Configure Receipt Days Exceed Action = Warning.
2. Create PO1.
3. Attempt receipt for PO1 → a Warning is displayed, as expected.
4. Change Receipt Days Exceed Action = Reject in Manage Receiving Parameters.
5. Attempt receipt for the same PO1 again → it still displays a Warning instead of Reject.

Similarly:

1. Configure Receipt Days Exceed Action = Reject.
2. Create PO2.
3. Change the parameter to Warning.
4. Attempt receipt for PO2 → it continues to Reject instead of showing a Warning.

From our testing, it appears that the Receiving Parameters are only honored by purchase orders created
