Adding synchronize defaults 2.0 in pipeline

As per the requirement we need to add synchronize defaults 2.0 and synchronize definitions 2.0 in a pipeline so that these will be executed as a part of Pipeline job after data load.

we have synchronize defaults 2.0 as template in WFP application, we don't have option to add Templates in the Pipeline. we do have Rules/RuleSets, when I try to add 2.0 template , its not available to add as a template in Business rule. Could anyone please your thoughts
