Shipment Currency becomes NULL after Bid Award

Hi All,

We have noticed a behavior in OTM that we would like to validate with the community.

When a carrier bid is awarded to a shipment, the Shipment Currency field becomes NULL, even though the awarded bid contains a valid currency and the shipment costs are correctly calculated based on that bid.

This appears to be standard OTM behavior. However, it is causing issues with some downstream integrations that rely on the Shipment Currency field being populated.

We would like to understand:

  • Has anyone experienced the same behavior?
  • Is this an expected OTM standard behavior?
  • Is there any configuration, patch, enhancement, or recommended workaround to keep the Shipment Currency populated after the bid award?
