Lease is impaired now need to reverse the impairment

We come across several scenarios, where the auditor asks to do an impairment and once after the business recovers for that property, the impairment is asked to be reversed. Auditor is one of the big4, so the practice is not questioned, but I can see that there is no delivered functionality to reverse an impairment in Oracle directly.

Is there a workaround to reverse the impairment, apart from the manual journals? The manual journal however doesn't change the lease schedule.
