why already-costed resource transactions on WO don't get re-costed at the new resource rate?
Setup:
- Cost Scenario defined for the Cost Organization + Cost Book
- Resource rates maintained directly within the Cost Scenario
- Cost Book is PAC-enabled
Steps Performed:
- Resource rate for a specific resource was defined in the Cost Scenario at the start of the period (e.g., Rate = 10)
- Work Orders were executed during the period, resources were charged, and Create Cost Accounting Distributions was run successfully — resource transactions were costed at Rate = 10
- Mid-period, the resource rate in the same Cost Scenario was changed (e.g., Rate = 10 → 15).
- Create Cost Accounting Distributions was re-run.
- Checked resulting cost on Work Order Costs / Cost Details for the work orders that had already been costed in Step 2
