Creating Posted GL Journals in Oracle ERP Cloud via OIC

Hello Team,

We are currently integrating Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with Oracle ERP Cloud to create GL journals. At present, the integration successfully creates journals, but they are created in Unposted status.

We are looking for guidance on how to have journals created and posted automatically as part of the same process, or what additional steps/API/process are required to post them after creation.

Specifically, we would like to know:

  • Is there a supported way to create posted GL journals directly through OIC?
  • If not, what is the recommended approach to post journals after creation?
  • Are there any required setup steps, privileges, or post-import processes we should be aware of?
