Asset lines creating seperate Asset in FA for each line

In Oracle Fusion PPM, the asset lines generated from Projects are being transferred to Fixed Assets, and a separate asset is being created for each asset line. However, the requirement is to consolidate these asset lines into a single asset (or fewer assets) instead of creating individual assets for each line in Fixed Assets. How can this be configured or resolved?
