How Long Does Data Extraction Tool Activation via Oracle SR Take?

Summary:

We are currently validating the Data Extraction Tool in our Oracle 26B environment.

We have completed the required setup by enabling the Opt-In feature, configuring the necessary profile option, and assigning a custom role with the required privileges. However, the objects are not appearing in the tool.

After raising an SR, Oracle Support informed us that an internal request has been submitted to enable the required backend prerequisites, and they mentioned that the process may take couple of weeks.

For anyone who has gone through this process:

  • How long did it take for Oracle to complete the backend activation?
