Sub inventory changed for the substitute item as per plant parameter

Hello experts,

We are using three different supply subinventories. Although a single supply subinventory is defined at the plant parameter level , we have three different work centers, and each work center is configured to use its own dedicated supply subinventory.

For the primary item on the work order, the system correctly derives the supply subinventory based on the work center configuration. However, when a substitute item is selected through Material Availability Assignments, the system defaults to the supply subinventory defined at the plant parameter level instead of the work center-specific supply subinventory.

Is this the expected standard behavior in Oracle Fusion Manufacturing?
