Guidance Needed: Using Redwood Internal API for Sourcing Assignments

Hi everyone,

We are working on automating "Sourcing Assignments" and found that there doesn't appear to be a "public REST API" available to create, update, or delete sourcing assignments.

While inspecting the Redwood UI network calls, we found the following endpoint which is working for our requirement. We are able to invoke this using postman.

`/fscmRestApi/scp/11.13.18.05/sourcingAssignment/save`

However, this seems to be part of the "Redwood UI implementation" and we couldn't find any public documentation or support statement for it.

Our main question is:

  • Has anyone used this endpoint (or a similar Redwood internal endpoint) for integrations?
  • If yes, how did you get confirmation from the Product Development team that it is supported and safe to use in a customer integration?
