Perpetual Average Cost Remains Zero After Initial Misc Receipt Using Current Cost
Hi Experts,
We encountered a Cost Management issue in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Environment:
- Cost Method: Perpetual Average
- Item Cost Profile: Perpetual Average
- Transaction Type: Miscellaneous Receipt (Stock Opname Adjustment Plus)
Issue:
A newly created item had no prior cost history and no existing inventory transactions.
A Miscellaneous Receipt transaction was created with:
- Use Current Cost = Yes
Since the item had no existing current cost, Oracle created the transaction with Unit Cost = 0.
As a result:
- The initial receipt was costed at zero value.
- Subsequent inventory transactions inherited the zero average cost.
- All related transactions are currently in:
- Costing Status = Fully Costed
