We are currently performing a cost optimization assessment for our on-premises Oracle WebLogic Server environment and would like to gather Oracle-recommended best practices for optimizing resource utilization without impacting application performance.

We are reviewing the following areas:

  • Managed Server sizing and consolidation
  • JVM heap sizing (Xms/Xmx) optimization
  • Execute thread configuration
  • JDBC connection pool sizing
  • Session timeout configuration
  • Log rotation and cleanup
  • Removal of unused deployments and resources
  • Storage cleanup (logs, heap dumps, thread dumps, temporary files)
