ESS unable to save change for person name via ESS

Summary:

We are unable to save the change for person name via ESS. When raised SR, it mentioned that the workflow approvals are causing the issue.

I inactivated each and all of the approvals, but the issue occurs again. Only bypassing is solving the issue, but we need the approvals
