How to use password for API remains encrypted in the Oracle CPQ database

Summary:

I entered the password as a Secure type, as described in the SecureGuide. I would like to retrieve it using BMQL and use it for an API connection, but even after retrieving it with BMQL, it remains encrypted and cannot be used.

Is this expected product behavior?
Alternatively, how can I retrieve the unencrypted password using BMQL and use it for the API connection?
