Preserving Certification Validity in OLC – Unable to Backdate Learning Assignment Start Date

Summary:

We are migrating historical learning records into Oracle Learning Cloud (OLC) and need to preserve learners' existing certification validity periods and renewal cycles. Our approach is to assign learners to a Learning Initiative, then use Bypass Complete with their original completion dates so that certification validity continues seamlessly.

Some learners have previously completed training outside of OLC and already hold certifications with active validity periods. To continue tracking those certifications in OLC without disrupting the renewal cycle, we are attempting the following approach:
