Hide a Specific Absence Type from "Existing Absences" Section in Redwood/VBS

Hello

We have a requirement to hide only one specific absence type from the Existing Absences section after a transaction is submitted.

For example:

• Annual Leave – should be visible in Existing Absences
• Casual Leave – should be visible in Existing Absences
• Sick Leave – should not be visible in Existing Absences

The requirement is applicable for:

• Employee Self-Service (ESS)
• Manager Self-Service (MSS)
• HR Administration

Is there any standard configuration, VBS customization, or Redwood personalization that can be used to hide only a specific absence type from the Existing Absences region while keeping all other absence types visible?

If anyone has implemented a similar requirement, could you please share the approach, documentation, or recommended steps?
