Change Field Value based on another field value

Hi All,

On the Position page, I have two descriptive flexfield (DFF) attributes.

One attribute needs to depend on the other. In other words, when the master attribute is changed, the dependent attribute should be updated automatically based on predefined business logic.

I tried using event listeners and action chains, but I haven't been able to get it working.

How can I implement this behavior? What is the recommended approach?
