Dear all,

Our system reports the following error:

"Issue transaction was put on hold to avoid generating negative inventory."

However, our transactions do not create negative inventory. We have verified that sufficient on-hand quantity exists before the issue transaction.

As a workaround, we created a Miscellaneous Receipt before the affected transaction date and a corresponding Miscellaneous Issue afterward. Unfortunately, the error simply moved to the newly created Miscellaneous Issue transaction instead of being resolved. It seems like an endless loop.
