Absence Plan Enrollment start and end date doesn't populate correctly for backdated promotions

We are facing an issue with backdated promotions and absence plan enrollments.

For example, an employee who has to promoted effective 1-Jul-2026, but the HR has done his promotion on 20-Jul-2026. The old plan enrollment end date and new plan enrollment start date are being updated based on the transaction date [20-Jul-2026] rather than the promotion effective date.

Oracle suggested either:

  • Running the Update Accrual Plan Enrollments and Calculate Accruals and Balances processes manually with the promotion effective date, or
