Equity Pickup is calculating on subsidiaries marked Equity and Subsidiary (100% owned). How can we make it only calculate Equity entities?

We have a simple entity hierarchy with a parent entity, one subsidiary marked as 100% holding, a few 100% owned subsidaries marked as Subsidiary, and one 40% owned entity marked as Equity. When the equity pickup runs, it calculates and picks up all subsidiaries. 100% owned subsidiary should not be included as they will be part of the consolidation. How can I rectify this?
