In Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) there is a seeded feature to automatically create/update Sourcing Rules, Sourcing Rule Assignments, and Approved Supplier List (ASL) entries from a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).

There are two common ways:

During BPA ApprovalIn the Approve Document window, select Enable Automatic Sourcing.Optionally select Update Sourcing Rules and Assignments.This creates/updates sourcing information when the BPA is approved.Concurrent ProgramRun Generate Sourcing Rules and ASLs From Blanket Agreements.The program automatically creates or updates sourcing rules and ASLs from approved blanket agreements
