OTM Mobile–Capture returned quantities by shipment line without impacting Received Quantity process

Hello OTM Community,

We have a business requirement to capture returned quantities by shipment line during a customer return pickup process using the OTM Mobile Application.

By doing research, we' ve found that this can be achieved by enabling:

• captureReceivedQuantityEnabled = true
• captureReceivedQuantityEnabledLine = true

However, this functionality is based on the standard Received Quantity field, which is not the same business concept as Returned Quantity.

Before implementing this approach, we identified some concerns:

• The field exposed to users represents "Received Quantity" rather than "Returned Quantity".
• Potential confusion between delivery scenarios and return pickup scenarios.
• Possible impact on shipment execution data if received quantities are copied from tracking events to shipment line actuals.
