Position synchronization Error in Manage Enterprise HCM info

Summary:

Hi Folks,

We are currently implementing Position Management and configuring Position Synchronization in Manage Enterprise HCM Information.

We updated the setup in Edit mode and enabled Position Synchronization. However, when we try to submit the changes in Correct mode using the existing effective date, we receive the following error:

"You can't configure position synchronization as of a date in the past. Select today's date or a date in the future to continue. (PER-1531674)"

We observed that the change can be submitted when using Update mode with the current system date. However, our requirement is to enable Position Synchronization using the existing effective date in
