Enabling the Email URL link as default output type at Custom Folder level for BIP Reports

The requirement is to send the Report output as a URL link in the Email instead of an attachment to the User.

There is an option at Report level properties to enable the Email URL as shown in below screenshots.

Does this enabling of Report output to be delivered as URL will affect the customized Workflow notifications?

How can we enable such option at Custom Folder level instead of individual report level?
