EDMCS Migration Approach – Request for Guidance on AVL Export/Import and Future Template Migration

We are currently in the middle of a major release involving multiple integrated systems, with EDMCS sitting on top of the overall solution landscape.

Due to patch inconsistencies between the DEV and PROD environments, we are currently unable to use the standard Template Migration process because of version difference.

We have an EDMCS change that introduces four property-level validations, including enabling the Allow Nulls option. As a workaround, we are considering exporting and importing the Allowed Value List (AVL) and then manually enabling Allow Nulls in the target environment.

We would like to seek Expert Opinion that performing this workaround will not cause any issues or conflicts with our future template-based migrations once the environment and patch inconsistencies are resolved.
