Recommended approach to delegate a planner access in Workforce Scheduling

edited Aug 6, 2026 3:54AM in Workforce Management 1 comment

Summary:

In Workforce Scheduling (WFS), to access the schedule the Planners must satisfy multiple conditions:

  1. Have assigned security role / data role with access based on AOR.
  2. Have assigned AORs for each department they manage (could be up to 20 departments)
  3. have their username assigned to the Schedule Generator Profile (SGP).

The question is how this type of role should be delegated to cover the planner's absence?

The understanding is the other user, to whom planner delegates the WFS functions, should have exactly the same configuration - security role, AORs and their name in SGP.

Considering the condition, is there a recommended / best practice way to delegate scheduling?

Howdy, Stranger!
