How to get the Work center Overhead calculated when there is multiple work definitions for same item

Summary:

We have a requirement to apply the overhead rate based on tonnage, where tonnage represent through the work center.

but the issue here is , same item has multiple work definitions with different work centers where the rollup is considering the value at costing priority 1 work definition.

Let say Item01, has multiple item structures like primary, Alternate 1,Alternate 2,Alternate 3…Alternate 6.

Item>Item Structure>Work center>Work definition

Item01 >Primary> WC1>WD1

Item01>Alternate 1> WC2>WD2

Item01>Alternate 2> WC3>WD3

for WC2 the tonnage is 220 ,which needs 0.5 $

for WC3 the tonnage is 240, which needs 0.8 $

We did the work center level overhead setup and it is not working as expected.
