Is Period Type = Monthly with Period Length = Year the correct configuration for a Yearly Repeating

Hi Oracle Community,

I'm configuring a Front-Loaded Annual Leave Accrual Plan and I need clarification regarding the Repeating Time Period configuration.

Oracle Support recommended using a Yearly Repeating Time Period for this type of accrual plan. However, when creating a Repeating Time Period, I don't see Yearly as an available value for Period Type.

My current configuration is:

• Period Usage: Accrual Processing
• Period Type: Monthly
• Period Length: Year
• Sample Start Date: 01-Jan-2026

My questions are:

1. Is Period Type = Monthly together with Period Length = Year the correct and recommended configuration to represent a yearly repeating period for a Front-Loaded Accrual Plan?
