Truncated fields (ie. approval condition) in PR / PO approval rule report

Summary:

We are trying to get all PR and PO approval rules (of all stages) and export it as a report, how ever we found that seems the output result has character limits, ie for some rules with complicated conditions, the sql are not able to display the whole rule…

Cause:

  • The condition_string field in POR_AMX_RULES has a maximum length of 1000 characters.
  • If the condition exceeds this length, it will be truncated in the database and consequently in any report extracting this data.

Is it possible to expand the character limit of the oracle approval rule report?
