Does Oracle Production Scheduling Support 26C "Use Production Lines in Discrete Manufacturing"?
Summary:
We understand that 26C Manufacturing Cloud introduces the feature "Use Production Lines in Discrete Manufacturing," which allows discrete work definitions and work orders to be associated with production lines.
We would like to clarify whether Oracle Production Scheduling (PS) supports this manufacturing model, where the work method is Discrete, but the work definition/work order is associated with a Production Line.
Based on our current understanding, Production Scheduling supports either:
Discrete Manufacturing using work centers and resources, or
Flow Manufacturing using production lines.
Could you please confirm whether this new manufacturing model is supported in Production Scheduling (Linking a Production Line to a Work method : Discrete)?
