Object Workflow Not Triggering for Custom Object Integrated with BPM

Hi Oracle Experts,

I am implementing a custom approval process in Oracle ERP Cloud, and I am facing an issue where the Object Workflow is not being triggered.

Business Scenario

We have a custom Return From Leave (RFL) solution with two Visual Builder Studio (VBCS) pages:

  • RFL Submit Page: Employees submit their Return From Leave requests.
  • RFL Approval Page: Approvers review and approve/reject requests through a custom approval page.

Both pages are integrated with a custom object built under ERP and SCM Cloud. When an employee submits a request from the RFL Submit Page, a record is created in the custom object with values such as
