Is is possible to update "Created by" for learning content items?

As per the post below, we have a scenario in which a learning specialist who created learning content items has moved roles in the business.

As they're still working for the organisation, they continue to receive FYI notifications when a learning incident is raised containing learning content which they created. They no longer hold the application approval role or the learning specialist role and so cannot and should not take any action on the incident.

It's hard-coded in Oracle for the content creator to receive the FYI notification when a learning incident is raised. Therefore, to stop the ex-learning specialist receiving these notifications, we need to recreate the content and update the offering activities with the new version of the content. Would this be the only work around in this instance? Instead, is there a way to update the name under "Created by" e.g. by using HDL or something similar?
