Implement a dedicated Refresh/Retreat transaction/process in Oracle Fusion

Business gap is that Oracle Fusion does not provide a Standard Manufacturing Transaction equivalent to the legacy NAV Refresh/Retreat process. Below is a structured functional requirement that can be used for a design discussion or enhancement request.

Current Process

  • Already-treated ties sometimes require additional preservative treatment (Refresh/Retreat).
  • Since no new finished product is produced, Oracle Manufacturing is not used.
  • Users create Miscellaneous Issue transactions to consume preservative inventory.
  • Charge number, processing hours, and preservative consumption are maintained manually using Oracle reports and Excel worksheets.
  • Miscellaneous Issue transactions are not included in the Charge Summary Report or Production Summary Report
