I am playing around with Sankey Chart

About the Sankey Chart Type for Dashboard 2.0

Unfortunately, Oracle missed the opportunity of providing the form structure for their provided examples in this article.

So far, I figured out you need to put the dimensions that you want to have visualized in the row dimension. So put there two dimension and you see the costs that of those dimensions that share the same POV. Basically it is an ad hoc query with two dimension in rows and you suppress all missing data just visualized.

For me that is not "shows how values flow across dimensions" but a visualization of the existing cost structure. ie. accounting system records costs on Accounts and Cost centers. There are no costs flowing from accounts to cost centers. Visualizing the cost structure is a great feature but not what I was expecting/hoping for.
