Accounting Date Validation Error During Revenue Accounting

in Project Management

I am trying to perform revenue accounting in Oracle Fusion Contract Management Revenue, but I keep receiving the following error:

"The accounting date 01-Aug-2026 isn't in an open or future enterable period. You must open the accounting period or modify the journal entry rule set or source value to use a different accounting date."

I have already verified that all relevant accounting periods, including Project Portfolio Management (PPM), General Ledger (GL), Receivables (AR), and Payables (AP), are open for August 2026, and September 2026 is available as a future enterable period.

The event was created in August 2026, the contract is active, and the associated project is also active. Given these validations, I am unable to determine why this error is occurring during revenue accounting for the event.
