Workforce Scheduling doesn't assign shift to a contingent worker without working pattern

Summary:

Contingent workers don't have a work pattern assigned

We were planning to use Calendar Availability functionality for contingent workers to trace their Availability and Unavailability.

Note, Unavailability is only possible if there is no work pattern assigned.

The problem is - when assigning an Open shift to a contingent worker we receive an error:

• The worker doesn't have a work pattern assigned. Try again with another worker.

This is not expected behavior for Contingent workers.

We have added the Rule to Ignore the Working pattern for Contingent workers, but this had no impact.
