EDMCS Generation Extract Includes Shared Nodes

Summary:

I have run a Generational Extract and noticed that implicitly shared nodes are being included in the extract output. At the same time, the "Exclude Implicit Shared Nodes" option is greyed out and remains set to off/GreyedOut by default.
Is this expected behavior for Generational Extracts? What controls the inclusion of implicitly shared nodes when the option is not editable?
