SLA Mapping Set / Account Rule using Non-Costing Item Category Set in Cost Management
Summary:
Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to derive GL accounts in Cost Management (Subledger Accounting) using an Item Category Set that does NOT have Costing, Purchasing, or Inventory functional area flags enabled?
We want to use a standard/custom Category Set assigned to items at the Inventory Org level.
Could you please share:
- Is this supported for Mapping Sets or Account Rule Conditions?
- Which SLA Source Reference should we use to capture this specific Category Set?
- What is the best practice to prevent SLA accounting errors if an item lacks this category?
