Approval notifications outside their visibility scope

Hi everyone,

I’d like to clarify a behavior we are experiencing in Oracle HCM / HRSS regarding approval notifications.

The HRSS role has its own visibility scope, but it also has the ability to approve certain transactions.

We have noticed that, once an approval notification is triggered, the notification is still sent to the HRSS user even when the transaction concerns data outside their visibility scope.

We would like to understand:

• Is this standard Oracle behavior?
• Is there any workaround or configuration that would prevent the HRSS user from receiving the notification when the transaction falls outside their visibility scope?
