Oracle Learning Calendar Invite (.ics) Not Opening in New Outlook After 26C Upgrade

Hi,

We are currently validating Oracle Learning functionality in our Dev 7 environment after the 26C upgrade and encountered an issue related to calendar invites.

Scenario:

  1. Created and assigned an Instructor-Led (In-Person) course to an employee.
  2. Downloaded the calendar invite generated from Oracle Learning.
  3. Tested the downloaded .ics file using different Outlook versions.

Observed Behavior:

  • In Classic Outlook, the downloaded calendar invite opens successfully and can be accepted.
  • In New Outlook for Windows (Microsoft 365), double-clicking the downloaded .ics file does not open the invite.
  • As a workaround, selecting "Open With" → Classic Outlook allows the invite to open and be accepted successfully.
