Always Free Ampere A1 instance disabled – request temporary re-enable to resize down to free limits

Hello Oracle Support,

My Always Free Ampere A1 instance was recently disabled following the August 2026 resource limit updates.

Since it is currently disabled, I cannot perform any action requests, including editing or resizing it.

Could you please temporarily re-enable my instance so that I can downsize its configuration to meet the new 2 OCPU and 12 GB RAM Always Free limits?

Here are my tenancy and instance details

  • Home Region: France central/Paris
  • Current Specs: 4 OCPU / 24 GB RAM
  • Target Specs: 2 OCPU / 12 GB RAM
  • Instance OCID: ocid1.instance.oc1.eu-paris-1.anrwiljr42k6ooico54aorqa3mq3kzhjbi7rpnifob24spl3jtwhitxpug5q
